Les Marais
Les marais is the French word for marshes, but also for low places.
I go for walks in the nearby marsh in moments of anxiety.
Whenever I look at the water and the creatures that grow in it, I feel time passing,
but there is some eternal substance that stays in my gaze.
As that moment flows downwards I become one with the marsh, no longer just a separate person,
but a retardation.
