Cicadas are always tilted upwards when they die. Yet the cicadas' eyes are on their backs. What is it that they see when they die. Is it the earth that nurtures their young? Or is it the emptiness of death?
A photo book "Dead Cicada" inspired by "Fear of Death as a Child".
The bookbinding material is handmade paper that makes the best use of the texture of wood, and all are bound by hand.
以 "童年對死亡的恐懼 "為靈感的攝影書：蟬總是朝上死的。蟬的眼睛著在身體的背面，當它們死去向上看時，大部分的視線都是朝向地面的。 他們的眼睛裏看到了什麼？他們是在看他們在童年時已經看過的地面，還是在看死亡？影集為全手工製作，選以靠近大地顏色的日本手工和紙裝幀外殼，內冊以如蟬翼質感的布質紙印刷。
