Les marais" means "the marsh" in French. In Japanese, a small lake full of coastal plants is called "Numa" or "Numazu". When I was studying in Japan, I used to go to such a marsh in the evening or at night to walk around and take photographs. The images became a path to observe the swamp in my heart, so I compiled them into a book.


「Les marais」為法語中沼澤之意。日语里会把布满沿岸植物的小湖称之为「沼」或者「沼津」。在我日留学期間，平常总会在傍晚或者夜间去这样的沼泽边散步、拍攝。图像也慢慢成为通向观测自己内心沼泽的小径，於是我就將其匯集成冊。
