The first time I saw Qing Yang's works, I felt that they were "warm" and "touchable". She is good at condensing the temperature of people and their surroundings into silent images. Sensitive and accurate, delicate and calm. I like her works very much.  Qing Yang's image making process is just like the temperament of her works, she will try different media and development methods in the darkroom to find the most suitable way of presentation, with a classical and dense quality.

We hope that the book, like her images, will be soft and wearable, revisiting the sensitivity of intimacy between skin and physical touch. Therefore, we chose to use wax to process the images and a variety of special handmade papers for the book, in order to get as close as possible to the texture of the artwork itself.

This book was exhibited in artist chenqingyang's solo exhibition "touch has a memory".

第一次看见清扬的作品，我就感觉到那是「温暖」「可触摸」的。她擅长将人与周围的温度凝在静默的图像之中。敏感并准确，细腻且沉稳。我非常喜欢她的作品。 清扬在影像制作的过程也如她作品本身散发的气质一样，会在暗房里尝试不同的介质与显影方式以找到最适合的呈现方式，有一种古典沉密的特质。

后来她说将在家乡举办自己第一次的个展，询问我能否为这次的展制作一本手工影集。我很愉快地答应下，与她在2022年的最后2个月时间内共同打磨这本书。

我们希望这本书如同她的图像一般，能将是柔软的，可磨损的，让人重温亲密关系中皮肤和肢体触碰之间的敏感。因此，我们选用了蜡来处理图像，再以多种特殊手工制纸张作为书的载体，尽以贴近作品本身的质感。
